Pitzer’s 管理工程 program is offered through the 自然科学系, a joint department that serves students from Pitzer and Scripps Colleges. The department has more than 50 full-time faculty and places an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and research.

  1. How to develop frameworks for understanding unfamiliar physical systems by identifying the principles underlying these systems.
  2. How to translate the frameworks you develop into a mathematical model.
  3. How to analyze and simulate mathematical models, assessing the reasonableness of your answers.
  4. How to work with standard lab equipment, conduct experiments, and analyze experimental data.
  5. How to communicate your findings, both verbally and in writing.
